Beautiful suede Froddo Barefoot winter ankle boots with wool lining and a TEX membrane, in stylish black. The Extra Grip (thermo rubber) sole is even more flexible than the regular Froddo Barefoot sole. The shoes are easy to put on thanks to the zipper on the inner side.

• Inside the shoe (between the upper and lining materials) is a waterproof and breathable Froddo-TEX membrane. In practice, the membrane is a bag that extends all the way around the shoe and up to the shaft, with taped seams. You can check the height of the bag's upper edge in the membrane pockets beside the tongue.
• Shoes with a waterproof membrane should only be cared for with products recommended for TEX-membrane shoes. New shoes do not require pre-treatment, but can be protected with a dirt-repellent spray if desired.

💖 PLEASE NOTE THAT SHOES WITH A TEX MEMBRANE ARE NOT THE SAME AS RUBBER BOOTS! 💖 Shoes with a TEX membrane treated with a waterproofing spray will keep water out very well up to a certain point. However, once the shoes are completely soaked, even the “performance” of the TEX membrane between the upper and lining materials may no longer be enough. If rain, puddle play, or generally spending a long time in wet conditions is expected, it’s best to wear fully waterproof rubber boots.

Size 42 in this barefoot shoe style fit Maria perfectly! The last is so wide and the toe box follows the natural curve of the toes, so size 42 is more than enough for Maria. In non-barefoot shoes, Maria usually wears size 42.5-43, depending on the width of the last. The toes of non-barefoot shoes are usually more or less pointed, which reduces the space at the front, so Maria has to choose a larger size.
